Website Design Process
A practical web design process that moves from research and page planning to copy, design, launch, and improvement.
The process begins with understanding the business, service areas, priority offers, existing pages, competitors, and the searches a real customer might use. From there, the site map is planned around pages that deserve to exist, not filler.
Next comes copy and layout. Each page needs one clear purpose, a useful heading structure, enough detail to answer buyer questions, and calls to action that match the visitor's intent. Design supports that content instead of hiding it.
Before launch, the site is checked for mobile layout, internal links, metadata, image size, speed basics, sitemap, robots file, and crawlable HTML. After launch, the site can be expanded with supporting articles, location pages, and conversion improvements.
